The right person
matters more than the hire.
Finding the AI business lead worth pursuing.
RenShan is built by former Alibaba, NetEase and Ant Group operators and veteran headhunters. We define the role through business judgment first, then find the right person with an AI talent map.

Judge the person first.
Then decide how to move.
A résumé shows what someone has done. It does not show whether they will move, or whether they can be moved. We judge fit first, then influence, then decide the next action.
Fit decides who is worth seeing. Influence decides who can be moved.
Fit first, influence second, then the next action. Judgment is not a single interview; it is a chain that keeps calibrating.

Turn human judgment
into an engine that runs.
Our CEO brings ten years of executive search experience and multiple founding rounds, and has productised the judgment that search partners rely on. The engineering team comes from Stanford, Alibaba and repeat-founders; this is not an AI feature bolted onto headhunting — it is judgment that keeps running.

RenShan and a traditional headhunter: what is different?
A traditional headhunter delivers a contact, and the judgment rests on one consultant's experience. RenShan first turns the JD back into a business problem, then has the business expert committee calibrate the hiring standard, and finally uses an AI talent map to locate candidates across target companies and adjacent talent pools. Judgment happens before search, and the process is reproducible and calibratable.
What does the process look like?
Four steps: business diagnostic, expert calibration, confidential search, onboarding support. The diagnostic produces the role standard, calibration produces the judgment dimensions, search produces a shortlist with reasoning attached, and onboarding closes the loop by testing the judgment against results.
How fast is the first shortlist?
The first shortlist arrives within 48 hours of confirming the engagement, and every candidate comes with the reasoning behind the recommendation, not just a résumé.
How is pricing structured?
Fees are per retained role and depend on seniority, search difficulty and confidentiality requirements. A clear quote is given in the first conversation, with no separate résumé fee or upfront charge.
How does confidential search actually work?
Through double-blind mutual selection: candidates first see the business context and reporting line, the client first sees an anonymised profile and the reasoning, and identities are only revealed once both sides are interested. Client identity, communication cadence and information boundaries stay controlled throughout. One engagement ran 8 months, covered 1,853 approaches and had zero identity leaks.
Which cities and sectors do you cover?
Headquartered in Hangzhou, serving Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Suzhou and Chengdu, plus overseas searches. Sectors cover AI and internet, embodied intelligence, fintech, overseas talent, brand and entertainment, and general critical roles.
When is RenShan the right fit?
A good fit for 0-to-1 team building, senior or business-lead hires, confidential replacement of an incumbent, launching a new business line, or reaching a concentrated candidate pool quickly. If you only want to buy a résumé database, RenShan is not the right partner.
How is RenShan different from RPO?
RPO is priced on process and résumé volume, aiming to lower hiring cost and improve pipeline efficiency. RenShan is priced on judgment for critical roles, aiming to find the right person. RPO usually covers many routine roles; RenShan only takes roles that need business judgment, such as business leads, scarce technical leaders and confidential replacements.
Will AI replace the consultant's judgment?
No. AI expands the search radius inside the talent map and handles cross-validation and information sorting, freeing consultants from searching. The final judgment still sits with the consultant and the business expert committee. AI lets us see more people faster; deciding who is worth pursuing remains a human judgment.
What are your six judgment dimensions?
The six dimensions describe a consultant's judgment style: insight, empathy, communication, drive, collaboration and poise. Every consultant has their own peak and represents a different style, some strongest on technical judgment, others on organisation and empathy. Clients see not just a score, but why this person fits this kind of role.
